New Year Challenge

I survived the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with only a few extra pounds put on. I was expecting worse, so I'm actually not too upset with myself. But now's the time to work those extras off and get back on track. Just in time because the Team Beachbody message board that I use is starting a new Challenge on January 3rd!!
Coach Patty and Coach Jan run the show, but there are so many inspiring and motivating people on there, I wouldn't be where I am today without them!
So, come on with me and join in this Fitness and Accountability Challenge for the New Year!

Off the Wagon

Slip, Slid, or Fell off the Fitness/Nutrition wagon during the holidays? Don't panic! or give up! Just ease back into things. Sometimes getting upset with yourself and expecting too much, too soon can backfire on you. Take small steps to get back on track, not big leaps. You'll find it easier to reach success if you have several mini goals instead of one large one.

Give it a shot, we can do this!

Happy Thanksgiving

I wanted to wish you well this Thanksgiving holiday. And to remind you that holidays can be the worst time for us - it's so easy to use this as an excuse to put off your workouts and eat all the wrong things.Don't use the holidays as an excuse to fall off the health & fitness wagon this year. Use them as a reason to put even more into your workouts and watch your portions, pick the healthier foods. We can do this!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

It Starts Here

Getting Started...

Hey! Hope this finds you well. I wanted to let you know a little about me.

About 5 years ago I realized I needed a change. I figured if I was out of breath and struggling to get a 5lb cat litter jug into the house from my car, it was time for a change. I bought a couple of workout DVDs from the local 'get everything in one place' store and got started. Stopped. Started again. Then I saw the Turbo Jam infomercial! I thought, "That'll get me going". Bought it and got started as soon as it arrived. Stopped. Started again. A few months later I saw the Hip Hop Abs infomercial and thought, "That'll change things up a bit". After I got it, I mixed both the TJ and HHA programs together. Stopped. Started again.

This year I discovered ChaLean Extreme. Bought it, started it, and am still working out everyday. It's a part of my day now, like brushing my teeth. I've completed 2 rounds of CE and am over half-way through my first round of P90X Classic (and still enjoy mixing my TJ & HHA in where I can). I never thought I could do the X but here I am! I'm planning on starting RevAbs the first of the year (as soon as my round of the X is done).I went over 2 years without taking advantage of the Team Beachbody membership. It shows in my story above. February was when I started using the Message Boards and Tools that Team Beachbody offers - that's when I finally started working out on a regular basis. With all the motivation and support I received from Team Beachbody and it's members, I'm hooked! I even became a Coach with the hope that I could end up motivating and supporting other people to get where I am - Fit, Happy, & Striving for more!

So that's my story. I just wanted to share a little bit about myself. Now, enough about me. Let me hear about you - what program you're doing, supplements you like, if you're more a gym person, if you're trying to lose weight/tone up/build muscle, and where you are on your fitness journey? I'm really interested and would love to hear from you!

Take Care!
